Once I've finished a fabric collection and it's finally out in the wild, there's nothing I love more than sitting down to play with my designs. Quite often through playing with different combinations, proportions and shapes I come up with ways in which I never envisaged using my designs when I first created them.
One of my favourite and quickest ways I like to do this is through English Paper Piecing. When I first started sewing with my 'Floral Song' fabrics, I wanted to try tessellating shapes which you don't commonly see used, so I created this heart shape template with diamonds in between.
It turned out so well that I fell in love with the hearts (excuse the pun!) So I developed a download sheet for you so that you can recreate this EPP too. Simply click the download button below.
